The Drum, the “heartbeat’ of our Mother Earth, is the original instrument of all indigenous cultures. Have Respect for the Drum. It knows your thoughts and feelings; it can make you dance or cry. It is the heartbeat of the people. The Drum symbolizes unity. Drums have many purposes dependent upon the needs and desires of the Drum Keeper. Made from wood and natural hides, each drum is unique in sight, sound, and feel.
